About main(e)learn Consulting

main(e)learn’s founder, Kurt Gerdenich, is a digital product leader with thirty years of experience in EdTech. Most recently, Kurt served as Chief Technology Officer for Vista Higher Learning, a high-growth, market-leading digital language learning company. Prior to that, Kurt held a number of product leadership roles at Cengage. 

A former teacher himself, Kurt is a hands-on, details-matter professional who has built and led successful teams in product leadership, engineering, user design, project management, program management, content creation, digital and media production, quality assurance, technical support, corporate IT, and accessibility / privacy compliance. 

Over his career, Kurt has created and delivered successful digital products across many different educational markets, including K-12, Post-Secondary, Professional, Reference, and Global.  

Kurt has a B.A in both English and Government from the University of Notre Dame and an M.A in English from Ohio University.
